Applications and supporting materials are to be submitted by March 31st. Students who do not submit complete applications by the deadline will not be allowed to enroll in upper division courses.

Submit hard copies of transcripts from all colleges attended since graduating from high school to: Director, Nutrition and Dietetics Program, Department of Health and Human Performance, Peters Hall B-154, PO Box 6957, Phone: 540-831-5305, Fax: 540-831-6650

Unofficial transcripts will be accepted.

The decision process: You will be given a response in writing prior to the beginning of registration indicating:

Acceptance: All specified courses have been completed with a C or better and cumulative GPA is 3.0 or greater. You may enroll in 300 level courses.

Provisional acceptance: All specified courses have not been completed and cumulative GPA is 3.0 or greater. Full acceptance will be granted when all specified courses are completed with a C or better. Speak with an advisor about enrollment.

Rejection: One or more specified courses have grades of D or below or cumulative GPA is less than 3.0. Students have the option of repeating courses until grades of C or better are earned and a minimum cumulative GPA 3.0 of is attained. Students may not enroll in 300 level courses.
