CEHD Facilities

Peters Hall was built in 1953 as a physical education facility. It underwent major renovations in 2003 and now houses the College of Education and Human Development, the Department of Dance and the Teaching Resources Center. Peters Hall's 106,209 square feet include eleven multimedia classrooms, a climbing wall, several conference rooms, several dance studios, a courtyard, and physical fitness faciities.


Peters Hall Climbing WallIf you haven't experienced the thrill of indoor rock climbing, take a trip to Peters Hall. There are 640 named muscles in the human body. Climbing uses 639 of them. Rock climbers of all skill levels can test their abilities and try to make it to the top.

 

 

Peters Hall Fitness CenterOur fitness center is a full service exercise facility featuring stair climbers, elliptical trainers, exercise bikes, treadmills, free-weights and independent workstations covering every major muscle group. From beginners to gym veterans, the Peters Hall Fitness center is a great way to get in shape, stay in shape, or simply get your body moving

 

Teaching Resources CenterThe mission of the Patricia Langford Roughton Teaching Resources Center (TRC) is to provide instructional, curricular and technological support for students enrolled in teacher education programs, professional education faculty at Radford University and K-12 teachers throughout the Commonwealth.  In conjunction with collections in McConnell Library, the Center provides valuable teaching resources and the finest instructional equipment available.
